Emotional abuse has an insidious way of disintegrating the very core of who you are. It’s a process that can turn you into a shell of your former self.

You can rebuild, but to do so sooner than later will decrease the time it takes to recover a toxic relationship. Even if you are left empty inside, the moment the toxicity is out of your system is the same moment the healing starts.
